New Sertoma Treasurer
The Sertoma Board appointed Beatrice “Bea” Gabany to serve as the new national treasurer of the organization. She will be in charge of managing the finances of Sertoma Inc. Bea Gabany joined Sertoma in 2005 and has held an impressive amount of roles within the organization including: Director of Allegheny/Canada, Club President, Club Treasurer, Club Secretary, Club Liaison and Web Master. In the past, she was also a Regional and Certified Trainer. In addition to her past experiences, she has also been awarded with the following: Club Builder Team Award, Service Award (1,000 hours), Presidential Growth Award and Leadership Award.
Hearing Charities of America Adds Board Member
Hearing Charities of America (HCOA) has selected Dr. Rae Guerrero to join the National Board. Guerrero is a licensed Audiologist in the state of Texas and is the co-owner of Trinity Audiology Specialists, PLLC. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and is a member of the Port Arthur Sertoma Club. Guererro currently lives in Nederland, Texas, with her husband Samuel and their two children Liliana and Ezra.
