Has Your Contact Information Changed?

The leaves are starting to change into the deep colors of autumn. The outside temperatures are sliding lower on the gauge. It’s the perfect time to throw open the windows and do some major fall cleaning. Who doesn’t feel better after putting away all the clutter or sweeping out the dirt?

Well, here at Sertoma, we feel the same way! So, up go the windows and here come the brooms and dusters. We are getting down to the business of some deep information cleaning. It’s time to deep clean our database!

Wait. What? Data? Yes, data. Plain and simple. Just like a home, data gets cluttered and dusty over time thanks to changes in processes, moves, phone number changes and improvements in software. It’s time to ensure that the information entrusted to us is organized, concise, and is as complete as it can be so your Sertoma staff is able to provide clubs and members with the best support possible.

Here’s how we’ll be cleaning and how you can help!

  1. During this next quarter, our Communication Specialists will be asking their club officers to verify the information in their own club rosters, and to then provide the up-to-date club roster so that we can ensure our information matches.

  2. You may receive an email from our database host Blackbaud asking for your information. The email was sent at our request and we appreciate your response.

  3. If you prefer to submit your information directly to us via email, please email us your contact changes at: infosertoma@sertomahq.org.

Without accurate contact information, communication stops before it even begins. We have some exciting projects in the works, things that will give clubs and members new tools, resources and importation information, but we need your help to clear out any cobwebs!
